I have been working on the chassis, getting the interior ready by trial fitting pieces. I noticed that when the rear bulkhead(B9), is added there is a large and quite visable (throught the rear window) seam. Since part B9 is not added until near the end of the build process, I felt that it needed to be dealt with now. I borrowed a technique from the armor builders and created a weld seam. I first covered B9 with kitchen wrap to allow me to remove the part afterwards, without my filler sticking to both parts. I used Glad Press & Seal. Then I layed in two part body filler. I use Euro-soft glazing compound. I used a toothpick, cut at an angle to create the bead. I sent a photo to Tim to show the effect. I do need to do a little clean up, but when B9 is glued in place later, the seam should be well hidden. The seam has a bit of a sloppy look to it, but to those familiar with race cars, weld seams are made strong not pretty. Pete J
