Today I have been working on the seat frame as it is shown in the SMS reference photos. The frame is brass rod that is soldered together. Tonight it will be primed and then given a coat of aluminum buffing metalizer. The seat back is shown as raw fiberglas and I'm expermenting with replicating the finish using a fine mesh and expoy. We'll see how it turns out. Tim

More progress. I ended up using toilet paper and white glue for the back of the seat. Brushed on a mix of Tamiya paints to aproximate the color of the fiberglass and brushed on a thin coat of Humbrol clear. The Humbrol will yellow slightly as it drys and will hopefully add to the color. Next will be the seat fabric, I'm probably just goint to use SMS texture spray rather than try and cover using fabric.
