Hey Everyone, I've had several ideas to duplicate the look of cast aluminum parts. A paint I just purchased at the local Autozone leaves a texture of cast material. To date it's the best that I've found. Manufactured by Dupli-Color the the paint is, "High Performance Textured Metallic Coating". Product label reads EMX102000, MX102 silver textured metallic. I'm sure there are several solutions out there. Maybe starting a thread we'll end up with a compilation of ideas that might help. Also I just want to see something new posted.

For cast metal look, I use SMS Faux Fabric and paint it with alclad. I think it looks pretty good. Just sent of a photo to be added, so you can see the result. Pete J.
