Have I missed something here! I did a test fit on the engine and discovered that the turbocharger won't fit inside of the rear frame. I had to sand a notch in the frame to get it in. I looks like all the part are in the right postion but it is a big notch! Also be careful mounting the crossover plenum between the airboxes. Mine came out about just a bit too tall and it wouldn't fit under the firewall. I would really like to know if any one else had these issues. Pete J.

Hi Pete,
I had the same prob. with that when i test fit those parts...I found that the parts hadn't seated all the way in, so they were too tall and the turbos stuck out too much....

Chad - Thanks for the reply! At least I know I am not going completely nuts. I guess the next time I build one of these(yes, I have two more sets), I will check the fit a lot more closely. Though I must say, I was certian that everything was seated. It took some special work to get it right. Thanks again for the post. Pete J.

Hey Pete...I thought about your post, and took another look at my 935...my engine lid wont close all the way either. just a tiny bit....and I made sure all the intake parts were seated correctly....I just think its a design flaw, in the fact the intake assy. is just a tad to tall.

Chad - I haven't reached that point yet, but I am not planning on installing the lid. I am not going to put the hinges on. I want to be able to see the entire engine and that rear deck really gets in the way. I am going to test the fit though. This is an old kit and in spite of the great company, it has a lot of issues a current version would not have. I had forgotten what a pain the old kits could be. Thanks again for the advice. Pete J.
